Hello,

VSCO no longer provides this preset. However, with a little googling, I saw that about 10 months ago it was offered as a free download as a part of Starter Pack 00. However, I can't find this any longer. I'll keep googling around, but does anyone know what happened to it? Or how to achieve this look by hand? Bummer, I wish I would have seen this free pack a few months ago!

If you contact them requesting the set (00), they will send it to you. I did this a few months ago.

The preset is from the vsco pack 05... it's kodak gold 100- I just went on their website and it looks like they still sell the 05 pack. Sorry for the confusion!

Thank you! Hopefully @luvtokreate is right and they'll send me the free starter pack. It was a big deal when they did this back in April 2015 and a ton of sites had links to it, but they're all broken links now. I'll comment back with what I find out

Since I mostly edit by hand and don't really use presets, I'd rather not spring for the whole set, but we'll see.

I just looked and I requested the set at the end of January. I just messaged them saying "I am interested in VSCO presets but would like to try the free set before I purchase".

VSCO film are presets to use with Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop, on a computer. I bought a few sets last month. I believe set 05 has Kodak Gold 100.

I saw this thread and went to the site to contact customer support. I'm not kidding, within 10 minutes I had a free starter pack! Their customer service was out of this world! I just said that I was interested in purchasing, but would like a sample first, if they offered a free one.

They are wonderful! I've had to contact them before about an issue with an order and it was taken care of immediately.

@jennypodesta what email did you use? I never saw an email address on their site, but used their customer support contact form, which seemed more like a forum? where did you see an email? I haven't heard anything yet. Thank you!

I think you used the same thing as me (https://support.vsco.co/hc/en-us/requests/new). Maybe they are off for the evening. I'm sure they'll respond promptly in the morning. Keep me posted!

I requested a set but I have ACR/CS5 and they said they didn't have a freebie for me to try, but the Film 001 would work with the program I have...boo hoo...i will have to take a looksee at that.

Just an update for anyone following along on this thread. I did get a response and a download for the 00 Freebie pack which does include Kodak Gold 100. However...it's not installing properly, so I'm awaiting for support to help me. I've installed presets a ton without any issue at all - Meg's presets loaded right up, no issue at all. For some reason, VSCO has an install wizard and when I run it, it says it's done it successfully and just to launch Lr, but no presets are there. Anyway...hopefully I can get it cleared up

Have you tried shutting down LR and reopening? I had this problem and that fixed it for me! Fingers crossed!

Ok! I think we've got it solved! There's a box in Lightroom - Preferences "Store presets in Catalog" that MUST be Unchecked! Mine was checked. THAT was the trick, very strange. I can't wait to use them!!
