poll: AF-S VS AF-C SINGLE FOCUS VS CONTINUOUS FOCUS ?

    Hi, 
    I just moved to BBF. wondering what everyone uses for focusing the little ones while moving!! AF-s or AF-c


    My camera is d700 nikon.

    Hi Patricia! I thought I would pipe in even though I shoot with Canon. It depends on the situation but with moving children I would use AF-C (Al-Servo for Canon).

    On Nikon, if you use Af C in BBF, while holding the button down you will be in continuous focus mode, but if you want to lock focus (eg to recompose), just lift your thumb from the button (then it will act like you are in af s). That is the best part about bbf imo, the ability to essentially switch focus modes just by lifting your thumb! :-)

    Thanks ! I will practice that way ! I am getting frustrated with my 50mm 1.4. But maybe it's just me !
